Israeli border guards examine the ID of a detained Palestinian teenager outside Checkpoint 56 in Hebron.

Checkpoint 56 sits at the end of Shuhada street and separates H1 Hebron from H2 Hebron. Since October 2015 only Palestinians with H2 resident permits are allowed to pass the checkpoint.
